TREES-y does it at Witley Court next week when head gardener Richard Squires leads a one-mile walk around the grounds of the 19th century stately ruin.
He will share fascinating facts and anecdotes about the trees, including where they came from, why they were planted and what they have been used for over the generations.
The tour will take in trees ranging from the stately to the exotic, including oaks, cedars, north American conifers and the Robina Pseudoacacia that inhabit the grounds from the woodland to the lake and as far up as the ruins.
It starts on Sunday, May 12 at 2pm. More information is available by calling 01299 896636.
