MALVERN Town are at home to bottom of the table and relegated Dudley Town tomorrow (Saturday) in the Express and Star League Premier Division and will be hoping to complete a double having defeated Dudley 3-0 back in October.

Town had hoped to get the kick off time changed in view of the FA Cup final, but the visitors refused to play ball.

Town general manager Richard Anson said: "We have been very unhappy with the fixture scheduling all year and for the second year running we have been given a home game on FA Cup final day, and again against one of the few teams who were not prepared to alter the kick off time, why the West Midlands League doesn't follow the example of the Midland Combination and go for 7pm kick off's is beyond me. Instead they leave it to the clubs and if one does not want to change, then there is nothing you can do about it.

"Obviously we hope our regular supporters will appear on Saturday and we are sure they will, but the gate will be down and so will the bar take, but the fixture organisers do not appear to consider this."

However, Town boss Joey Rawle should have a full squad to pick from, although some of the players eligible for the Reserves' Evesham Hospital Cup final against Littleton at Evesham United on tomorrow (Saturday) night (6.30pm) might not be considered for first team action.

Rawle will select from: Alden, Higgins, Clayton, Walker, Ward, Davies, Cannon, Cotterill, Halion, Holmans, Roberts, Hooper, Taylor, Thomas, Smith, Williams, Hughes and Hancocks.

On Bank Holiday Monday Town visit Ettingshall HT, kick-off is 11.30am, Malvern expect to name the same squad.

The Town reserves beat Mahal 2-0 in the Express and Star League Division One (South) at home last Saturday, thanks to two second half goals from Steve Hancocks, but Tuesday's scheduled trip to Leominster Town was postponed.

The Under 18's last chance of silverware disappeared last Tuesday, when they went down at home to Cheltenham Town 1-0 in the semi-final of the HFA County Youth Cup.

On Tuesday (May 7) the Town youngsters play the last of their fixtures when they line up against Harrow Hill in the league. This home game kicks-off at 7.30pm and Town hope for a decent crowd, given the exceptional season the U18s have had.
