THE Band of West Mercia Constabulary is appealing for more brass players to join the ranks. The band was formed in 1988 as a way of raising the force's profile and to raise money for good causes.
It now needs to find new members, who do not have to be police officers, particularly bass trombone and cornet players. Anyone interested should contact musical director Howard Gibbs on 07769 740397.
