HARRIERS Ladies beat West Bromwich Albion 3-2 on Sunday despite only fielding 10 players.

West Brom took the lead in the 12th minute thanks to a fine strike from Hayley Pee into the top left-half corner.

But Julie Freeman set up Louise Holmes two minutes later and she equalised from close range.

A Paula Brabbing free-kick set up Freeman in the 28th minute when she volleyed in from 10 yards with her left foot.

West Brom drew level when Pee scored her second goal in the 33rd minute.

In the second half, the Black Country opposition had much of the play but could not get past the Harriers defence who were outstanding.

Freeman bagged the three points for Harriers in the 88th minute, breaking free from the defence to beat the keeper with her 16-yard shot.

On Sunday, May 12, Harriers will visit North Staffordshire.
