OUR mum, Margaret Mary Harris, died in March after being in hospital for six months.
Due to the situation in Kidderminster, she stayed in three different hospitals.
The treatment and care she received during this time varied greatly, to say the least, not to mention the way we were received.
We could write a book on the many different experiences we had but we felt that as a family we must publicly thank the staff of Cookley Ward in Kidderminster Hospital.
During her illness Margaret had to stay in this ward on two separate occasions for a few weeks at a time.
The care she received was outstanding. No-one was ever too busy to give us some time and, in fact, staff went out of their way to make sure we were informed of everything that was going on.
What a fantastic team you are. Your dedication and sense of humour made us all feel better. Thank you all so much from the Harris family.
