CHADDESLEY Corbett made hard work of beating Division One South bottom side Bustleholme Reserves but eventually won 4-1.
They dominated the first half but led by a single goal at the break after squandering chances.
Richard Burton inspired the opening goal by feeding Ian Vogel down the left and he crossed for Craig Pratt to fire his 20th goal of the season.
Chaddesley over-ran the visitors' defence but keeper Brendan Appleyard and defender Adam Wattley worked hard to repel the storm.
But they were assisted by the home side's lack of composure in front of goal.
The injured Andy Birch was replaced by Brian Burton at the start of the second half when it was Bustleholme's turn to torment.
They camped in the villagers' half for the first 15 minutes and eventually equalised through a Neil Oakley header from a Ryan Yeomans cross.
Fine defending by Matt Baynton and Gavin Knight, helped by Jamie Roberts, stemmed the Bustleholme attack.
And Chaddesley forced their way back with counter-attacking play prompted by R Burton.
Vogel scored two goals and Pratt a second to give them victory.
