AT least one person won't be turning up to cast their vote in the district elections today - but not because of apathy.
Daniel Cubbin, of Ludlow Road, Kidderminster, who received his polling card through the post last week, is just a little young to be having his say, being three weeks shy of his third birthday. two year old Daniel Cubbin gets in some practice for casting his vote.
Mum Lucy, who works as a receptionist for the Shuttle/Times and News, said: "This hasn't happened before and we were taken aback. But it's obvious he can't vote yet - he hasn't read all the manifestos!"
Voters go to the polls in 12 wards and results will be posted on the Shuttle/Times and News website tomorrow morning. The address is thisiskidderminster.co.uk.
Polling stations are open from 8am until 9pm.
