MOTORSPORT: Arley 13-year-old rider Ross Danby won Bewdley Motor Cycling Club's Spring Trial on Sunday.
The schoolboy dropped just four marks over the 40-section course at Stourport and was clear winner of the 70-plus entry.
Best of the adults was Mike Wilmore on seven, while Les Powderhill, of Wolverley, took second place in the over-40 class, just behind Steve Venn.
Top twin shock went to Nigel Houlston, of Bewdley, while Worcester's Ken Garfield won the B route over-40 class.
On Sunday, the Bewdley Club will begin their grass track racing season near Alveley with racing to start at 1pm.
