POLICE are hunting three men who robbed a Kidderminster post office on Tuesday afternoon.
The Comberton Hill premises were targeted at 3.15 when two of the robbers forced their way through a parcel hatch in the counter and threatened staff and customers.
An unspecified amount of cash was taken before the men escaped in a silver Renault Scenic, registration Y901 NJA, along Comberton Hill to George Street, before abandoning it in Lea Street. the Comberton Hill post office.
A spokesman for Consignia, formerly the Post Office, said the postmaster and his wife were physically unharmed but badly shaken.
One of the offenders is described as 6ft 2ins tall, athletically built with short brown hair and a slim, angular face.
He was wearing a yellow hard hat and a yellow fluorescent mesh vest with a blue and white check shirt, blue jeans and tan boots.
Another is 5ft 9ins tall, of average build and clean-shaven. He wore a tight dark top, dark jogging trousers and dark trainers. Neither man had a local accent.
The robbery may be connected with two cars - a green Subaru and a red BMW - seen travelling at high speed in the Bewdley area towards Tenbury Wells, police believe.
