WORCESTERSHIRE looked destined for defeat in their Second Eleven Championship match against Northamptonshire at Kidderminster.
Northants made 459-9 declared in their first innings and the County, resuming yesterday on 49-1, were all out for 248 in 71.4 overs with Gurdeep Kandola top scoring with an unbeaten 48.
Worcestershire followed on 211 be-hind and at the close last night were in deep trouble at 184-6.
