Alcester residents may have the chance to dance the night away at the Golden Jubilee celebrations if organisers get permission to close a town car park.
Alcester Town Council is to write to Stratford Council on behalf of the Jubilee Committee to ask if the Bleachfield Street car park can be shut to hold a dance.
If allowed, the dance would run from 5-11pm and people would be entertained by live music.
