A GROUP which plays its part in saving lives is desperately trying to recruit new members to help in its vital work.
Wootton Wawen Heartstart is made up of villagers who have been trained by Warwickshire Ambulance Service to deal with people suffering with heart problems.
The first responders can be at a patient's house within minutes after being alerted by the emergency services that there is someone experiencing coronary difficulties.
Anybody wanting to volunteer can attend a meeting at the village hall or Wootton Hall Sun Lounge on the first Thursday of the month from 8pm or call Heartstart vice- chairman Bruce Hardy on 01564 794565.
