THE number of Greig Centre trustees may be cut to drastically improve the decision-making process.
And their role may also be looked at after the issue was raised at the venue's annual meeting last week.
Trustee Ron Taplin said the number of trustees was far too many, often leading to long delays in decision making.
He believes decisions which could be made quickly by just a few people are taking hours because there are so many members debating the issues.
There are usually five foundation members, three people to represent groups which use the centre, three elected members and several who are co-opted throughout the year to stand for election at the annual meeting.
Chairman Phil Talbot admitted it was sometimes hard to get all the trustees together to discuss an issue.
