and Partnerships

TEN members met last Sunday to fish a new venue at Lighthorn Heath for the fifth round of the Spring Shield.

The new venue caught out the anglers who, following the previous week's 90 plus pounds, found the going tough.

Clive Leeming again topped the weight with 6.4.0 fishing in the reeds and weeds. Second place went to Ray Woods, who again fished out into the reeds and weighed in 1.11.0. Nigel Howe (1.4.0) finished strongly in third.

Members are reminded that the next match is at Loxley and the draw is at 8am. Members unsure as to directions are asked to meet at the Little Chef, Evesham or contact the secretary.
