May 7: 101 Reykjavik, Baltasar Kormkur.
Icelandic life through the eyes of a 30 year-old layabout who sleeps until noon, loafs around all day and drinks all night. He is content until his mother's bisexual lover arrives - comedy starring Victoria Abril.
May 14: Bread and Roses, Ken Loach.
Latin American woman and her sister embroiled in attempt to unionise a cleaning service in USA. Loach's first film made in America, nominated at Cannes Film Festival.
May 12 Jean de Florette, Claude Berri.
Claude Chabrol's novel about a city man's attempt to farm and his jealous neighbours, starring Gerard Depardieu.
