BORN in Worcestershire, Michael is 50 years old and has lived in Wyre Forest for all his adult life.

He served on Stourport Town Council in the early 1980s, and served on the governing bodies of several local schools.

He has been a member of the Liberal Democrats for a number of years.

He is an ex-carpet weaver, and has worked locally in the retail and leisure industries.

He is becoming increasingly concerned about many local issues.

As a chronic asthmatic he supports the effort being made by SKI to prevent the incinerator being sited in our district as a potential health hazard, and the necessity for some emergency services to be returned to our local hospital.

He is appalled at the thought of losing local facilities, such as sub post offices, and would do his best to oppose any issue, which endangers community facilities.
