THE former frontman from one of Britain's top bands of the 1980s is set to entertain the crowds at Worcester's Huntingdon Hall tonight (Thursday).
Ricky Ross wrote many of the songs that made Deacon Blue a household name as the group reeled off a string of hits, such as Real Gone Kid and Wages Day.
Deacon Blue reformed in 2001, releasing two albums and embarking on two sell-out national tours but Ricky has continued his solo career, showcasing his songwriting talents with songs that are often more personal than the anthemic style of many of Deacon Blue's numbers.
The concert starts at 8pm and tickets, priced £13.50, are available from the Box Office on 01905 611427.
