SINCE leaving the Royal Navy in 1945 I have used Kidderminster for shopping, market and auctions, and have bought anything form a packet of biscuits to a heavy goods vehicle.
I have noticed a great decline recently and feel that Thursday, April 4 was the end. I went to the auction near the station but could not park my car. There were acres of parking space, but it was all fenced off. There were many other motorists finding the same.
After almost 60 years I shall now have to look for better facilities elsewhere.
