KIDDERMINSTER Harriers collected the Worcestershire Senior Cup for the 24th time in their history despite losing at Aggborough last night.
Holders Moor Green pulled off a surprise 1-0 victory in the second leg of the final, but were sunk by the 2-0 advantage gained by Harriers in the first leg earlier this month.
The Dr Martens League Premier Division visitors scored with virtually their first shot at goal in the 20th minute.
Martin Myers slid in a fine through-ball for Danny Scheppel who tucked a low finish past the advancing Stuart Brock.
However, there was little else to enthuse a crowd of 539 in a disappointing game.
Harriers had opportunities to find the net on the night but were agin guilty of poor finishing.
Their best chance fell to Drewe Broughton on 32 minutes but his close-range shot from a Daire Doyle cross was too weak and easily saved by keeper Adam Rachel.
