IT is disappointing to read Jan Molby's reported comments about our Kidderm-inster Harriers (Shuttle/ Times & News, April 11).

I think that under normal circumstances he would have received a good reception from Harriers supporters when he returned to Aggborough with his "real football club", but I think they will now feel let down by his derogatory and unnecessary comments.

Small we may be, but at least we act with integrity.

If he thinks we lack "passion" he should have been at Rushden when the home supporters were completely out-shouted by the Harriers' travelling support for the whole of the game.

Also, while on the subject of support, there were some interesting statistics printed in the excellent Rushden programme.

I wonder how many people realise that taking all of the teams in the current Third Division, over the past 10 years, the Harriers are fourth in terms of increased attendances, with an improvement of 107 per cent.

Hull have improved 101 per cent over the same period, while Swansea (Mr Molby's previous "real football club") have decreased by 28 per cent.

All is not doom and gloom.
