GYMNASTICS: Sally Dyke and Rachel Fletcher gained individual joint first place in the Open Girls Competition at the West Midland Recreational Floor and Vault finals.
The Wyre Forest Gymnastic School talents scored 17.95 in Stoke to enable their team to finish third and take bronze medal.
The U-9 girls' A team also collected bronze medals and Alex Perry finished third overall with a score of 18.6.
Their B team and the U-11 girls Bs finished 24th, while the U-13 girls A and B squads were 24th and 26th respectively.
The U9 boys performed well to finished seventh, while the U-13 boys were denied a medal though finishing third due to a joint second position for other clubs.
In the Open Boys Competition, Leigh Harrison managed a good score of 17.45 but it was not enough for an individual medal.
