IN a major new venture Malvern Theatre Players are celebrating 25 years of residency at the Malvern Theatres by teaming with QuinetiQ to mount their first all-youth main stage production Shake, Ripple and Roll, in the Forum Theatre.
The show started yesterday (Wednesday) and runs until Saturday.
A cast of 40 young people aged 12 to 19 has been selected from open auditions, which attracted 70 hopefuls from throughout the district.
Shake, Ripple and Roll is a musical set in Uncle Angelo's ice cream parlour in a small town outside New York in 1950s America and features a series of mysterious events that involve a lost will, a private detective and a film star, concluding with an exciting and surprising denouement.
The shows are at 7.30pm and tickets cost £6.50 (children £5) from the box office on 01684 892277.
