A SPECIAL promotion in the Evening News enabled shoppers to snap up plenty of bargains in Worcester.
People who bought the Evening News last week were able to cut out special vouchers and have 10 per cent knocked off the price of goods in certain city shops.
The paper went on sale in stores that took part in the promotion, such as the Bodyshop, Superdrug and Wallis.
"The day was a great success," said Steve Conway, canvassing and in-store promotions executive with the Evening News. "A lot of people used the vouchers in the shops, and many of the shops that took part in the special day are looking at doing it over again."
