STONE lost their first home game of the season against Martley in a friendly on Sunday.
Martley were invited to bat in a match reduced to 32 overs per side and Stone reduced them to 28-4.
But a fifth-wicket partnership of 90 between Hine and Scorer steading the visitors' innings and they reached 165-8.
Pete Durnell (2-18) and Pete Glover (2-27) were the most successful bowlers.
In the face of fast and economical bowling, Stone lost their first five wickets for only 16 runs.
Nick Powell and Durnell added 60 for the sixth wicket but the home side were unable to build on this.
Stone were all out for 102 with Townsend (3-15) and Wood (2-4) the pick of Martley's bowlers.
