A WORCESTER teenager has appeared in court charged with indecently assaulting a 13-year-old girl and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
The 16-year-old boy is alleged to have assaulted the girl near Nunnery Wood High School on Thursday, November 1 last year.
The youth, from the Newtown area of Worcester, denied the charge. He also denied perverting the course of justice by trying to create a false alibi.
The case was adjourned until Wednesday, May 22 for a pre-trial review. The youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was released on conditional bail.
The condition attached was that he should not contact defence witnesses.
