THIS was the second meeting between these two sides in the Midland Combination Division One, and the outcome was again the same.
The visitors did the early attacking but Villa's defence remained strong and play was mainly confined to the midfield area.
In the second half Villa took the game to the visitors and were rewarded with a goal after 60 minutes from Wayne Davies. But from the restart Handshaker equalised when Lee Jones ran through Villa's defence to score. After this, Villa had goalkeeper Adrian Summers to thank as he made several good saves to keep the scores level.
