Bromsgrove Town Boys u9 5, Bidford Boys u9 1.

A BRIGHT sunny morning and a performance to match from Town Boys as they excellently passed their way past a team who have scored 103 goals this season in their respective Central Warks. League.

Despite showing why they had scored so many with a strong attacking presence in numbers, they left themselves open to the pace of the Town counter-attack, and were undone on numerous occasions.

Connor Wilson got Bromsgrove into gear when he hit the post after three minutes, and Town took control from there. Dan Jones latched on to a rebound which the keeper couldn't hold after a James Ward thunderbolt, and man-of-the-match James Brighton made it two a minute later when he ran through a wide-open defence and coolly slotted home.

Just before the interval whistle Town went 3-0 up when Wilson's shot was headed in by a Bidford defender.

Bromsgrove eased back considerably, but still managed to stay in control and add to their tally. James Ward scored his second after the visitor's keeper fumbled and midway through the final period Ross McGuinness scored a well deserved fifth for the hosts, from an excellent ball forward from Wilson.

Bromsgrove Corinthians 3 , Tally-Ho 1.

The Corinthians final Central Warwickshire Youth League game of the season was typical of the success they've achieved this year.

The first half was soon dominated by the home side and after ten minutes Ryan Gould's 20-yard dipping strike put the Corries in front. By half time the Corinthians had secured another goal by Peter Jenvey.

In the second half Tally-Ho struck back after a defensive error let their forward through.

The Corries re-doubled their efforts and Andy Court scored the third and final goal for a fitting end to an outstanding season.

Man of the match - Matt Frost.

Cofton Falcons u17 11, FIFA Colts u17 1.

Cofton started the first half brightly and looked impressive throughout the whole game. This was a result of Fifa only having 10 men to start.

Falcons took the lead and dominated a first half which was virtual one way traffic and by half time they were 4-0 up.

Fifa were also reduced to nine men when a player was taken off injured, and the second half saw Falcons score seven more goals - but all credit to the visitors who gained a consolation goal. The goals came from - Adam Wright, James Smalley, Mark Walker, Adrian Dodsworth, Wayne Boyce, Kevin Cook, Marc Calvey, Mark Cook and

Karl Parkinson (two apiece).

Callowbrook Swifts u10s 1, Solihull Rovers 1.

Town produced another fine display with James Nolan netting two goals and one from Jamie Gardner to make it 3 - 0 at half time. Man of the match - William Bacchus.

Feckenham Juniors 4, Catshill Warriors u11s 5.

Daniel Evans opened the scoring for Warriors, converting a Michael Ralph cross. He then doubled his tally from close range. Dean Willis' persistence put Warriors three goals to the good, and Michael Ralph's in-swinging corner made the half time score 4-0, when the Feckenham keeper was put under pressure by Nick Ingram.

The second half was a totally different affair. Although Warriors hit one more through Ralph, Feckenham scored a total of four goals in reply to make for a nailbiting finish. However, Warriors held on, and regained the league leadership.

Man of the match - Steve Payne

The boys next friendly isn't until April 28, but the club has had the honour of the whole squad being picked to join Aston Villa for three weeks training on artificial grass at their new academy at Stumps, Birmingham.

Bromsgrove Town u7s 5, Headless Cross u7s 1.

Town are preparing for the Shield Final on May 12 with a series of friendly matches and began with a good 5 - 1 home win against Headless Cross.

William Baker scored his 20th and 21st goals of the season, the first with a super first time strike, and the second set up by a great Richard McGeown through ball.

In the second half Tom Lucas was brave in a goalmouth scramble for Town's third following a great throw in, and then a handball forced by good pressure from James Endall allowed man of the match, Alex Sykes, to score his first seven-a-side goal for Town from the resulting penalty.

Headless Cross, however, pulled a good goal back straight from the kick-off, and were denied a second by goalkeeper Ben Lucas.

Billy Skinner deserves a special mention for a brilliant match in defence, and Sam Albrow was strong on the right of midfield too.

Town scored their fifth when Matthew Arnold had a drive well blocked only for Richard McGeown to score from the rebound with a brilliant half volley.

Town finished their season third in the league with statistics: Played 20, Won 14, Drawn 2, Lost 4, For 89, Against 14, Points 44.

Maypole u6s 2, Callowbrook Swifts u6s 4.

A good start for the next season u7's thanks to goals from Connor Robinson with two, Ryan Power and Lee Atkinson who was also man of the match.

Rubery Juniors u8s 1 v Callowbrook Swifts u8s 0

The last match of the season - being the return local derby match from three weeks ago - started at a frenzied pace, but with both teams unable to create any clear-cut chances the score at the interval remained 0-0.

The second half continued at the same pace with some fine passing moves from both teams. Chances were again few and far between with Callowbrook's best opportunity being cleared by the Rubery keeper after Stuart Green had beaten two defenders on a quick counter attack.

Rubery struck back with some constant pressure which the Callowbrook defence coped with admirably.

The breakthrough for Rubery came five minutes from time by way of a soft own goal from a corner - inadvertently deflected in after a wicked bounce at the near post.

Man of the match - Rory Caines.
