ANOTHER disgruntled customer from a Bromsgrove housing estate has hit out at builders who have left her dream home a wash out.

Two weeks ago, the Advertiser/Messenger highlighted the case of Bromsgrove couple Dr Julian Hall and Catriona Adams who suffered from drainage problems in the garden of their Laing home on the Woodland Grange Estate.

Samantha Slater owns a McClean home on the same estate, formerly where Barnsley Hall Hospital stood and suffers from the same soggy problem.

She contacted site manager, Roy Jones in September who told her that the houses were built on solid rock and there was a very high water table.

To try and aid the problem she turfed and planted the garden, but it didn't help.

"The garden continues to have puddles form in the soil areas and the lawn in parts can be described as mush. My neighbours opposite have the same problem," said an angry Mrs Slater

When the Advertiser/Messenger contacted McClean Homes for a response a spokesman said he would be unable to comment until he obtained further details.
