CHILDREN had a muddy great time creating monsters out of the mire in the Wyre Forest last week.
"Mud Monster Mayhem" was the latest in a series of forest fun events for families and youngsters organised by the Wyre Forest Visitors Centre at Callow Hill.
Children aged between five and 11 visited a valley in the forest and created monsters out of mud which had accumulated following flooding.
They then made up stories about their monsters and stuck them to trees.
