"AMUSING and gripping" stories will be told about Bewdley next week as part of an exercise to find out what sets the town apart from the crowd.
A "What Makes Bewdley Special?" evening will be held at the town's Baptist Church on Tuesday from 7pm courtesy of Worcestershire County Council's countryside service.
Residents and anyone with an interest in the area have been invited to discuss how best to "celebrate and protect what they identify as special".
County folklorist Ben Hagerty will be on hand with tales about Bewdley old and new.
