SHOPPERS were treated to their own version of Pop Idol on Saturday thanks to the Alexandra Hospital's Radio Pulse.
Presenters set up stall in the Kingfisher Centre and invited people to show off their talents behind a microphone, raising £400 in the process.
The money will go towards keeping the station, which is run entirely voluntarily, on air.
Some of the singers will also have their efforts broadcast on the hospital radio station.
