THERE are those who would stress the need for a national day of celebration to commemorate Matt Groening's pure, inspired genius in creating these hilarious characters.
But unless some die-hard maniacally obsessed fan buys this video, it will prove a disappointment to most.
It's good to keep in your Simpson shrine but this is formulaic, repetitive stuff and not for the viewer who wants something new.
All the episodes have been on TV a number of times and to add insult to injury, they're poor examples of Groening's extreme talent.
It features four episodes, Beyond Blunderdome, Itchy and Scratchy: The Movie, 22 Short Films About Springfield and A Star is Burns but none of them excel in the Simpson world.
You may raise a semblance of a smile but don't worry about having to prevent the old splitting of the sides - they will stay firmly together.
