Three star
JUST to get you in the mood for the World Cup in South Korea and Japan this summer, why not try this out.
Because it probably won't be far from the truth in this summer's World Cup with Sven, Beckham and the boys.
The documentary-style, fly-on-the-wall comedy follows Mike (Ricky Tomlinson), the first England coach ever to be picked from a lower English league, through the highs and more often lows of international football building up to the forthcoming World Cup in Brazil. But will they win it?
There are plentiful scenes of Gazza-like booze binges and cameo roles from English celebrities such as Phil Jupitus, Atomic Kitten and Keith Allen, which makes this movie more than watchable.
And with an array of extras on the DVD, including alternative endings and deleted scenes, this one is definitely one to watch.
