Three star
Having always been a fan of Savage Garden and disappointed at the band's sudden break up, it was great to hear this first solo effort from lead singer Darren Hayes.
It becomes apparent after listening to the first few tracks Mr Hayes likes to oooh and ahhh a lot and tends to groan his way through the songs.
At first it adds a bit of sexiness to the tunes but after a while becomes a tad annoying and by the end of the album he begins to sound more and more like Michael Jackson.
But having said that this album is good and very easy on the ear with one of the best tracks being the catchy and moving Insatiable, currently in the charts.
And what makes this man even more credible is the fact he is Australian but, as far as I am aware, has never appeared in Neighbours or Home and Away.
There are 12 tracks on this album and although nothing jumped out at me while I as listening, there was a good mix of original songs.
