A MAGICAL treat for young people aged five and over in a world of adventure and enchantment is being staged at Malvern Theatres next week.
The Borrowers, tiny people who live under the floorboards, own nothing.
Everything they have is borrowed from 'human beans' who are unaware of their existence - until 14-year-old Arrietty makes friends with one of the 'human bean' children.
From that moment, she and her family are in grave danger of being found and eventually they are driven out of the house, narrowly escaping with their lives.
Their search for other Borrower families leads them to the mysterious Spiller and into wild adventures in the outside world.
The Borrowers runs at Festival Theatre from next Wednesday until Saturday, April 20.
