WITNESSES are being urged to come forward after a man was threatened by two armed would-be muggers in Kidderminster.
The incident happened in the Choices video store on Comberton Hill between 3.50pm and 4pm last Thursday.
The man had withdrawn money from a cashpoint on Comberton Hill when he a dropped a £10 note.
Two men tried - and failed - to snatch it but followed the victim into the store where they threatened him with "a bladed instrument," according to a Kidderminster Police spokeswoman.
They left after he refused to give them any money.
Both men were about 5ft 7ins and scruffy. One had a "stubbly" face and wore a light-coloured hooded top while the other was clean shaven and was wearing baggy clothes.
Anyone with information about the incident should call Kidderminster Police on 01562 820888.
