KINGS Norton kept their heads above water in the scrap to stay in Midlands West Four South with a timely win at the weekend.
The Ash Lane outfit condemned Dunlop to a bottom three finish with an 18-15 win and the points could prove vital with Stourport - the only side who can drag Kings into the bottom three - relegating Woodrush with a 13-5 win.
Norton's fate is in the balance and Mark Waudby's side face a daunting final fixture at home to champions Ledbury on Saturday (ko 3pm).
The league leaders secured the title with a 44-12 win over Coventry Welsh combined with second placed Southam's 25-8 loss to Droitwich and Waudby will be hoping for some complacency from the visitors.
A win for Kings would secure them a finish outside the drop zone but anything else could see them finish third from bottom if Stourport, who trail them by one point get a result in their last game.
If it goes down to points difference Stourport have the upper hand with a figure of -77 which is unlikely to be bettered by Kings (-126).
The Norton skipper expects to field an unchanged side for his team's crucial decider.
