OUTRAGED Woodrow residents are calling for large containers to be taken away from their street, claiming they are being used as a rubbish dump.
The containers have been in Bushley Close for nine months while work on installing new windows in Redditch Council properties is carried out.
Residents have complained to the council before and had been assured the containers would be removed by the end of last November.
A council spokesman said about 200 homes across Woodrow North were having replacement windows and originally the programme was due to finish in November but had been extended to July to include more homes.
"We are sorry if this is becoming an inconvenience to residents but we ask them to bear with us," said the spokesman.
"While it is temporarily unsightly, in the long term the work will bring significant benefit to the area.
"We are aware some people have been dumping rubbish and we'd ask them not to and call our refuse collection department on 534048 or 64252."
