EXOTIC and delicate flowers adorned a Droitwich Spa hall at the weekend.
Hundreds of visitors turned out to admire the exquisite blooms which were on display during the Worcestershire Orchid Society's annual show.
Sacred Heart Hall, in Worcester Road, was packed with thousands of unusual orchids and trade stalls.
Displays
Society secretary Alison Caldwell said: "The event went really well and we boasted some very impressive displays.
"Many visitors had never seen orchids on show before and were wowed by the colours and delicate blooms.
"We are keen to dispel the myth that they are too delicate for the ordinary man to grow.
"Nowadays you don't even need a greenhouse to grow your own orchids and it can be great fun."
