A FRIENDSHIP club for the disabled and over 50s in Worcester has been hailed a great success.
Afternoons of tea, bingo, fun and pastries are promised to everyone who attends Tolladine Community Centre, in Rowan Road.
The club, every Tuesday between 12pm to 2.30pm, has become the latest venue to meet new and old friends.
"The meetings have become a great success, if we can find the funding we're even thinking of planning some day trips for the future," said Audrey Isaacs, community development officer at Worcester City Council.
"It's a chance to have a real laugh with good friends and it only costs £2.50."
