A NATIONAL furniture company has marked its arrival in Worcester by donating £250 to Worcestershire Royal Hospital's neo-natal unit.
The manager of the new MFI store on Elgar Retail Park, Paul McKeever, recently met ward sister Rita Jenkins at the unit.
"We are very grateful for this donation from MFI, which clearly shows the company's support for the local community," said Ms Jenkins.
"We are constantly seeking additional funding, and rely on donations such as this to facilitate the standard of care currently provided by the unit."
"MFI stores receive tremendous support in their local communities," said Mr McKeever.
"This donation is one way in which MFI can recognise that local support and show its commitment to the area."
