CAPTAIN Shaun Daly saw his Bailiffs side record their first maximum Malvern & District Pool League win this season as they cruised past the Bar Studs 9-0.

Dave Jones started the rout then Harding, Reynolds, Kyte, Daly and finally Ken Jones took all six singles. The partnerships of Crofty & Dave, Daly & Harding and Kosta & Panner beat the boys from Bosbury, who were totally shell-shocked as the Bailiffs showed their true colours for once this season.

FEAR took the honours in the Cross Keys derby as they beat Phil Lakey's Robopot OCP 7-2 with captain Lee Tandy losing his single to Martin Hill but then Jay Tame, Newman, Hitchings, Barker and Soup Holtham sewed up the points with Tame & Hitchings and Geordie Barker & Lee Tandy also successful in the doubles. Captain Lakey was completely washed out by the result, FEAR lie second on 75 points just two behind the leaders. Robopot OCP remain fifth with a won four, lost six record and 54 points to their credit.

Neil Douche's Legionnaires sealed another top victory with a convincing 6-3 over the Lager Louts.

Timmy Green's Baldies Battlers are back with a bang after slipping up 5-4 the week before. They clubbed the Super Dudes 7-2 with Pete Blake, Phil Davies, Doug Jones, Terry Baker and captain Tim winning the game in the singles with only Tara Cooper picking up any credit for the Dudes.

Then the Phil Miles & Mark Smith partnership got their second point in frame eight. Tim's Battlers stay in fourth spot on a creditable 61 points.

The Dudes prop up the rest on just 24 points and duly rest this week with the bye.
