TEN gymnasts from Malvern Hills Gymnastic Cup Club took part in Country Trials last Sunday and four of them were chosen to represent Malvern in Hereford & Worcester County squad.
The gymnasts are Sophie Loader, aged 6, Hayley Smith, 8, Sylvia Moeskops, 9 and Jasmine Page, 11. They were tested and judged on all disciplines, vault, bars, beam, floor and range and conditioning. They will now train an extra session each month with the squad.
Malvern head coach, Brian Barson said: "Well done to all who took part and good luck to those who got in."
The other gymnasts were Bethan Pothecary, Emma Beaumont, Emily Coleman, Darelle Stocker, Kate Knowles and Sarah Woolley.
There is a chance to see the gymnasts in action, or to sponsor a gymnast for this event, on Sunday, January 27 at Malvern Girls' College Edinburgh Dome, Imperial Road, Malvern between 2-5pm. All welcome.
