EXPRESS made a bad start to the day when kit man Andy Bottomley turned up with the wrong kit and they had to swap shirts with Radar to avoid a colour clash.

EXPRESS 88 1, LANGLAND SPORTS 5

Express' performance on the day left manager Phil Smalley wandering if his players thought they were playing Radar as they failed to pass to anyone in their new orange shirts and at times tackled each other. This, however, should take nothing away from a good Langland performance who's determination to win the game showed why they are still unbeaten at the top of division two.

Express only played any football for the first 20 minutes after which they switched off and surrendered the game to be trailing 3-0 at half time. Things got no better in the second half as Langland continued to out fight and out play their opponents, Langland's man of the match Stu Harvey plundering a deserved hat-trick with one each for Rob Perrins and Dean Drinkwater.

The late consolation goal for Express came from Stu Summers after he was well set up by new signing Phil Hunt.

Express man of the match was Stu Summers.

This Sunday Express are away to Lake Sports, players meet 9.30am at Express Inn.

Everyone at the Express would like to congratulate centre half Barry Evans and wife Natalie on the arrival of their baby boy this week and wish them every happiness along with proud grandparents Roy and Pat.
