Written by the actor who portrayed Private Godfrey in Dad's Army, The Ghost Train plays at Cheltenham's Everyman Theatre from January 28-February 2.
The 'sinister' play stars Ian Lavender, who played the cosseted Private Pike alongside author Arnold Ridley in the classic BBC sitcom.
Lavender is joined by Henry McGee of Benny Hill fame and Judy Cornwell, Daisy in Keeping Up Appearances.
The Ghost Train was first produced in 1925 and the spine-tingling drama has been filmed no less than three times.
The box office is on 01242 572573.
