Health minister Jacqui Smith was due to attend a health and the workplace conference at the Bank House Hotel in Bransford today (Friday)
The conference, organised by Worcestershire Health Authority and the Chamber of Commerce in Herefordshire and Worcestershire, is looking at how improving health can benefit both individuals and companies.
The event will also explore differences between male and female health. Ms Smith will give a speech on the Government's role in linking health and business at the Conference.
Christopher Harvey, of the chamber of commerce, said: "A healthy workforce reduces absenteeism and improves productivity and competitiveness for that business."
