I WONDER how many of your readers know that January 13 was Plough Sunday. By chance I was present at a Plough Blessing. The farmer who owned the plough was the first to give a blessing, then the vicar gave a second blessing, each time a hand was put on the plough.
We sang two hymns, one at the beginning of the service and one at the end. The service concluded with a Benediction. Mulled wine and mince pies followed.
