Malvern Town Council is to thoroughly review the controversial skateboard park in Malvern's Victoria Park and explore whether to improve it or even dismantle it.
The review will look into concerns raised by skaters about poor maintenance at the park as well as facilities throughout Victoria Park.
Rosemary Lansdowne, acting town clerk, this week said: "The town council will be looking at the whole issue - the park, the skate facility and what, if any, can be the possible improvements.
"Malvern Hills District Council put the park in, not the town council."
Facilities for young people in Malvern are also due to be reviewed sometime in the spring following a crime and disorder audit by the Community Safety Partnership.
The aim is to involve the town's young people in a crime reduction strategy, whilst also looking at the provision of facilities, such as skateboard sites, in Malvern.
