AN appeal for witnesses to a hit-and-run accident involving a 12-year-old girl in Upton has resulted in a man coming forward to say he was involved.
He will be interviewed in connection with the incident, which saw the girl sustain minor injuries and shock after being hit by a van on Old Street at 5.30pm on Wednesday, January 9.
