THE Swan Theatre Company is starting 2002 with a production of Blithe Spirit, Noel Coward's "gay comedy about a ghost."
The play, written in 1941, tells the story of writer Charles Comdomine, who wants to learn about seances while writing a book.
He invites the medium Madam Arcati to hold a sance with his second wife, Ruth, at their home. But during the session, his first wife, Elvira materialises.
"How the situation is resolved provides much wit and laughter," said director Ann Moore. "At this time of year we all need a good laugh!"
The production at Worcester's Swan Theatre runs from Thursday, January 24 to Saturday, February 2. Tickets, priced at £5, can be booked on 01905 27322.
